Hey there,
This time last week, I had just finished teaching my third full day yoga retreat. To be honest, none of my yoga retreats have ended up being at a very conveinient time for me (one following a sleepless night after house hunting, another after a last minute interstate work trip). But hey, that’s life and despite a bit a hustle to make it happen, once I’m there holding space and sharing yoga I feel great. And I never regret holding the yoga retreat.
Normally, I’d share some pics after the retreat, but for this one, I actually forgot to take, so below I’ll include a selfie I took at the end of the day, at sunset in the quiet once all my retreat participants had left.
For the Autumn Yoga Retreat, the date ended up being the weekend between finishing up as the City of Adelaide’s Principal Economic Advisor and starting at the Economic Development Manager for my local Regional Development Australia. One of many big life events over the last 7 months!
Through this change I’m using my morning yoga and meditation, as well as sunshine in my lunch breaks and weekends climbing to keep me grounded.
If you need some grounding why not try this meditation or this yoga class.
A content and joyful Laura signing off for another week.

PS: After drafting this I realised it was actually the last Sunday of the month, meaning I should be including some recommendations from what I’ve been reading, watching and listening too. I think I’ll save them for next month now, along with a more complete life update
